Ca San Trovaso is an excellent small hotel in Venice. The staff were exceedingly helpful with directions and advice on how to get to the hotel. they were also very helpful with restaurant recommendations. It is located on a quiet canal and is full of charm. I would definitely recommend.

Lovely welcoming staff. The rooms are nice and well appointed. My only concern was there was no elevator and two fairly steep flights of stairs to our room. We did get assistance from the staff with our bags. I personally found the beds to be too soft for me. Others might not have that issue. The location is good about a 15 minute walk from Saint Marc Square.

Great location, quiet and clean, with lovely helpful staff.
It was really good overall.
Maybe a little pricy but it was the Biannale’s busiest week of the year.

It was a nice quiet area of Venice, away from the busy tourist areas. After a few days of exploring, it is not that far from the grand canal so the public water bus system.
It is not advisable to try & walk from the bus station to the property if you have luggages as there are a lot of bridges to cross over & you have lift suitcases for each one! There is no lift so we had to carry our suitcases over 2 steep flights of stairs. Also there is no tv in the room & breakfast was average (1 x small croissant & a coffee)
