Close to the train station, the beautiful gardens around the abbey ruins and the historic centre of York. Enjoyed the owners friendliness and warmth. Felt very much at home. Excellent breakfast too.

I would highly recommend this traditional family run guest house. A lovely welcome from Spyros. He explained everything in terms of the amenities of the property with the sence of pride on his face. After settling into our room we set off for the day, before leaving Spyros took us through the highlights of York and gave us brochures and Maps to assist with our itinerary.
In the morning we were given a choice of a Continental or a lovely all you can eat English breakfast. The service from Natalie and Kaldydira was exceptional… all of the family couldn’t do enough us to ensure a comfortable stay. The personal touch makes a real difference!
All this in a very short distance from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the city centre.
