Great location to York city centre and not too far to walk. Easy parking round the back and free which is a big bonus. We had the breakfast one morning and it was lovely and good value for money. The hosts were also really friendly and accommodating, definitely somewhere we would stay again if visiting York. It was also a really good room size. We felt it was a very reasonable price for our stay especially as we stayed over the bank holiday weekend.
Everything was generally great but if I had to pick something I didn't like, I found the bed a bit uncomfortable but that is all personal preference and I still managed to sleep well, no issues with noise.

The room was lovely. It was clean and warm.
The shutters in the bathroom didn't close properly. The windows were clear glass and the pavement was right outside so people could see you sitting on the loo.
The Inn was not manned so when we arrived earlier than the 3pm nobody was there and you had to ring a mobile number to get information. Only to be told you couldn't go in until after 3pm. It was only manned between 3pm to 8pm. You were given a code to let yourself in and out. I'm not sure this meets my safety issues. Our bedroom was on the ground floor and there was a really busy road at the side of us. It was very noisy. We were really disappointed with the whole setup.
