We had an an excellent family stay. All staff are warm, friendly and very helpful. It goes a long way.. really appreciated and valued. Location is first class and will definitely stay again and high recommend to others.
Pool area a little dated. Clean but aged.

This is old school opulence and you sense the history as soon as you walk in. The balance between maintaining the history, but appearing modern and contemporary was exceptionally met. Loved it. The staff were friendly, courteous and amazing. My sincere thanks to Emma who gave us breakfast on the house as an anniversary present. It really was most gracious and well received.
Nothing.

Nice view of the city, cozy bed, nice cleaners, staff generally very polite (with one exception of a waitress at breakfast)
Room felt a bit cramped, spa required you to bring your robes from bedroom and you've got to take two lifts to get there, no option to lie down in SPA unless you take on a treatment, breakfast felt a bit poor in terms of choice, and you had to pay extra in addition to the £35 it costs to order e.g. poached eggs. This fares poorly compared to other 5 star hotels I've stayed in. For what it costs, that is quite a lot, I felt it was not worth it. Would have been nice to have a lounge with a view where to take coffee/read/write
