First off, the staff were excellent and the hotel itself is a lovely place. However, as a boutique luxury hotel, I was expecting the room to have a bit more style and character.
The “Petite” room is very small — it just about accommodates the bed — and unfortunately its location lets it down. It’s situated next to the boiler room, which made it uncomfortably warm, even with the windows open all night. There’s also a nearby room where the door repeatedly slams as staff go in and out, which was quite disruptive.
I’m sure many of the other rooms are fantastic, but this particular one is best avoided if possible.

Short bus ride from the center. We needed the parking space as Edinburgh has a low emissions zone and this hotel was the closest we could get to the zone without having to enter it. So very happy to have found it and at a good price.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. They had a very fun warm up party for the big concert and the staff was very nice. Good quality and convenient location if you are ok to be a bit outside of the city center. Found a few nice trails close by
