About this bed and breakfast
Haus Susanne is ideally located for easy access to many of Austria's tourist attractions.
45 minutes from Salzburg.
1hr 15 mins from Halstatt.
1hr from Zell am See and Grossglockner
The house has 5 bed rooms (all with private toilet and shower), kitchen, dining room, bar/lounge.
Our spacious garden is also excellent for children and pets BBQ.
We have children's toys and lot of room to play in the green grassy garden!

Radstadt is a fantastic destination for a spring or summer break. Whether you are an adrenaline-junky, golf-lover or just love the relaxing pace of Austrian life,
Haus Susanne offers you an excellent base for great days out for people from all walks of life. Haus Susanne is just a 45 min drive from Salzburg City Centre. Salzburg is famous for its Mozart connections but there is much more on offer. From the Prince Archbishop's trick water fountains, to Salzburg Zoo to a Sound of Music tour, people of all ages can enjoy the city. The castle fort and cable car ride give excellent view points over the city. In the evening there are plenty of restaurants and classical or modern concerts to enjoy.
Mountain sports:
Mountain biking is an especially popular sport around the valleys and mountains of Salzburg. Summer lifts can take you and your bike to the top of a mountain to either take the sensible route down or to follow the downhill circuits used by the World Cup circuit. The area is also famed for its road cycling routes, bikes can be hired locally along with cycle tours for intermediate level and above. The local adventure centres have fully guided and qualified instruction for all kinds of mountain adrenaline pumped activities. The centre is for people of all ages and offers family activities or singular activities including (among many other things) white water rafting, pot-holing, cannoning, hiking tours, paragliding and quad biking.

5 einzelne Zimmer mit großem Doppelbett und jeweils eigenem Bad, dazu ein Zimmer mit Stockbett - sehr angenehm, wenn jeder verschieden aufsteht. Wer sich zurückziehen will geht in den Keller in die Lounge und lümmelt sich auf eines der 3 Sofas. Die anderen sitzen im Esszimmer, auf der Ostterrasse oder der Westterrasse, je nach Sonnenbedarf. Die Kinder konnten sich mit Trampolin, Rutsche, Schaukel und Spielwiese auch gut mal selber beschäftigen. Schade, dass die Sauna, die Anfang des Jahres noch mit beschrieben wurde nicht mehr in Betrieb war.
Die Fernseher in jedem Zimmer haben wir nicht gebraucht, wir waren mit Wandern und Spielen viel besser beschäftigt. Schön war's!

I honestly can't remember receiving a more personal experience from a skiing holiday, nothing was too much trouble. Ben and Angela certainly made us feel very much a part of the family.
Access to the many local slopes is very easy and, although a car is an advantage, we were ferried wherever we wished to go (and back).
The food was very good, varied and plentiful.
The rooms were very comfortable, spacious and quiet (not often my experience on previous holidays).
I would certainly recommend Haus Susanne to a friend.
