Myself and 2 friends stayed here for 2 nights. A short taxi trip to get to the city centre or a brisk 30 minute walk. Didn't feel cramped and could've had a 4th person, was ideal for a place to stay when visiting the city. Quiet area

The sofa was comfy. Off Road parking for 2 cars and walking distance to uphill. Enclosed garden is great for dogs.
All comments from previous reviews haven’t been addressed! Had to ring the owner once we got to the house because the code for the key safe wasn’t shared before we arrived. The whole house was dusty and dirty with toothpaste still all over the bathroom sink and walls. The bathroom extractor fan doesn’t work and needs cleaning. The beds were so uncomfortable, not one bed is fit for purpose. There isn’t a double bed, it’s 2 singles put together with the hard frame in the middle. Told the owner about this in person after the first night and messaged about how dirty the house was when we arrived, but we had no response or a resolution over our 4 night stay. Had to sleep on the sofa to get any sleep. The plates and bowls are chipped and not enough. There are no blinds, only very thin curtains. The decor is very basic, no Christmas decorations or tree. The mugs are very cheap, the baking trays, chopping board had all seen better days. There are not enough utensils and crockery to cook a meal. No hoover was provided, we cleaned the dirty fridge and descaled the kettle ourselves. We left the house cleaner and in a much nicer condition than when we arrived. The noise of a digger next door by the owner early morning was unacceptable, our dog wouldn’t settle. No information book and no extra / spare key which would have been useful instead of using the key safe.
