It was warm, comfortable and spacious. The shower was excellent. The location is perfect for visiting the centre of Lincoln which is a real treat in itself.
When we were there the dishwasher was faulty.

The location was fantastic, walkable to the cathedral and castle and Steep Hill independent shops. The rooms were spacious and attractive and the house had character. The house was warm and had everything you needed for a short break. It felt homely.
The beds in the loft room were very hard so not comfy. There was a smell of drains from the bathrooms after using them which wafted into the bedrooms. The blinds on the upstairs room stuck once closed so we didn’t want to try to re-open them. There was no lock on the downstairs toilet. These things have all be raised in previous reviews.

The stairs up to the mezzanine so didn’t stay in that room.

Quirky and cosy
No cupboard for clothes in top bedroom. Some fixtures missing. No holder for shower first floor and loose fittings in top bathroom and kitchen.
