Really cool place to stay. Felt really safe in the courtyard as a lone traveller.
Just needed a little fraught proofing around the door. Other than that was excellent.

Excellent location only 15 to 20 minutes walk into town.
Free secure parking was a bonus.

The best part about the property is the location and the layout. It’s clearly a historic building on an old Victorian plot which is great.
Unfortunately our apartment within the complex was not clean enough and the bathroom had an odd fusty, almost cat urine like smell to it. When looking around, you could see that it hadn’t been cleaned properly to a particularly good standard and there was dust, and marks all over. The carpet on the stairs is frayed with holes and layers of dust all over. The bedroom windows have mould on them and the walls were clearly dirty. Bulbs don’t work and there were cobwebs in all of the lights and corners. When walking downstairs, you can see the top of the kitchen hood, which has clearly not been cleaned at all. It might seem picky but it’s one of the things you see, so needs to be clean. We left feeling grubby. Unfortunately I can’t add enough photos to show it all.
