On the top floor of a two-story building, finely furnished. It includes one bedroom with a queen size bed, a living room with fireplace and sofa bed (queen size), a large fully equipped eat-in kitchen and a full bath. Accommodates up to four people. Autonomous heat and hot water. Spectacular views from each room and a very large roof top terrace. Ideal for those who are smart working or work remotely, writers, artists and people in search of inspiration or looking for adventure.
Ideally located for both winter and summer sport activities: 32 km from Monte Livata for skiing, 20 km from Subiaco for soft rafting. Horse riding, sport climbing, slow walking, hiking, wildlife watching, wolf tracking, snowshoe hike are also popular. The whole area is worth a visit: renting a car, if not owned, is highly recommended.
Immersed in the Monti Simbruini (Simbruini mountains), among the many sites and points of interest within half an hour are: Tivoli and its Villas (Villa Adriana, Villa Gregoriana, Villa d’Este), Subiaco and its monasteries (Monastero di San Benedetto, Monastero di Santa Scolastica, ecc.), the beautiful sanctuary “Santuario della Mentorella” and all the unspoiled beauty of the Aniene Valley as well as the many activities around the Aniene river. The little lake of Saint Benedict and the Parks Natural Path (Cammino dei Parchi), the Lazio and Abruzzo National Park are also noteworthy.
BY CAR - Located on the A24 highway (Autostrada Roma-L’Aquila – exit at Castel Madama and follow signs for Gerano).
BY BUS - Public transportation to surrounding villages and Rome from the adjacent piazza (Cotral bus from Rome metro station “Ponte Mammolo”).
BY TRAIN - From Termini Railway Station to Tivoli then take a local bus
