About this apartment rental

You'll find a modern and essential suite on two levels, on the fourth floor with a lift, in a late nineteenth-century building with high ceilings. A large window insulates you from the outside but lets you enjoy the view of the Diocletian's Baths area. The living area is on the first level, and the sleeping area with the bath is secluded on the habitable mezzanine.
The space is perfect for two people and comfortable for four. A fifth person must adapt to the size of a bit shorter single sofa bed (75 x 186).

If you travel with children up to 3 years old, please contact me before booking.

You'll be free to prepare breakfast by yourself, at any time you want: there is cutlery, a kettle, and a microwave with a grill, suitable for toasting bread and warming drinks, but also to heat ready meals if you don't feel like eating out. Please note that there is no kitchen or kitchenette. There's a small fridge of 17 litres, with a cell for ice, in the cupboard containing the crockery. NO use of the laundry machine.
The suite is inside our apartment but remains completely independent from our rooms. We have in common only the entrance. We'll give you the keys for getting you in and out freely. For timetables of check-in and check-out, we'll try to meet your needs as much as possible.
We appreciate "green" habits.
No other guests other than the registered ones are accepted.
All guests are asked to keep quiet between 10.30 pm and 8.30 am, to respect neighbours and the other inhabitants of the whole building and to leave the place as they found it.

Any damage or loss is subject to reimbursement.

Any other rule is suggested by reasonable common sense.

Very well designed apartment so close to station but not noisy. Excellent communication with host and nothing was too much bother

Our stay in Rome felt like being let in on a really good secret. The apartment looked nice online, but when we arrived it was clear the listing photos didn’t do it justice. Maria Laura’s place was even more charming in person - it’s definitely small but in a cozy, just-right-for-3 kind of way. It had personality, warmth, and everything we needed for a few days of Roman adventures.Maria Laura was an excellent host. She had stocked the house with thoughtful touches: coffee, milk, biscuits, jam, and even a custom guidebook full of her personal recommendations around Rome. One of my favorite details was the bedroom upstairs. It has no windows - if you're someone who loves a pitch-black room for sleeping it’s basically a dream. Meanwhile, the downstairs window gives you a stunning view so you’re not missing out on light or atmosphere. It was the best of both worlds. The house had everything we needed and Maria Laura was lovely to talk to - warm, helpful, and clearly someone who takes pride in hosting well. Just a heads-up to future guests: she’s a great conversationalist so you may want to leave a little buffer in your schedule for both check-in and check-out. We found ourselves lingering a bit and I’m so glad we did. This was one of those rare spots that hits every mark. A quiet, well-located retreat in the middle of a bustling city with a host who genuinely wants you to love your time there. We did.

Maria Laura is very attentive to detail. She is accessible and a very good communicator. Her instructions to reach the place were easy to follow. The apartment is very well organized, very clean and comfortable, on a rather quiet street close to a metro station and within walking distance from Termini train station.

My father, husband and I stayed for a week. It was lovely. She left us fresh food and cheese so we had breakfast each day. The location is amazing, we walked to everything each day. It is in the very center of Rome, 5 min from the train station. Also, the place is clean, in great condition, well cared for. I am an asthmatic and any places with dust or mold can trigger my asthma. This place was fine, no problems, feel free to stay if you have a sensitive asthmatic.
