Lucca in Azzurro Maison de Charme

Cute, quiet, lovely staff, great breakfast, very safe. Perfect location: nice grounds and facilities, loved the short walk into Lucca proper and is also close to the river trails. They were so patient with all our questions and their restaurant recommendations were spot on. Was a fabulous place to spend 5 nights before the chaos of Rome. I miss your wonderful cappuccini and variety of your breakfast offerings and those fuzzy blankets in our room, but also your smiling faces. Grazie mille!

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like to be honest

Schoon, comfortabel, op loopafstand van het centrum, goede parkeergelegenheid bij het verblijf, veel aandacht van het personeel.

Alles was prima

Varanda, janelas, claridade, travesseiros macios, roupa de cama muito boa, quarto espaçoso, banheiro grande e bem equipado, box de vidro, nao molha o banheiro. Tudo perfeito.

The room looked good and was clean, the breakfast service had plenty variation and the coffee was fresh made for you on the spot.

Online there are pictures of a jacuzzi/wellness area and they mention having bikes to use to go into the city, these facilities are not clearly mentioned to cost extra. Upon arrival we learned that the wellness costs €18,- extra per person per 1,5 hours and the bike rental is €8,- per half a day... Without the bike it is about a 20 minute walk to the historic city. With those facilities excluded the price for this B&B seems a bit steep, the overall experience therefor was quite underwhelming. The room was clean and had all the required facilities so that was fine. Just the misadvertising took us by surprise.
