The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was nice and clean, and plenty full teas, coffees and biscuits, shampoo, body wash etc.
Nice clean towels and bed linen and mattress.
Loved the view of the countryside out of the arched window in the balcony.
Was very peaceful!
The decor was very tired - but this didn't affect our stay, and was a nice cheap and cheerful night away.
The doors to the balcony were very difficult to open and close - not sure if this is just the way they are - perhaps should have told staff to be honest.

The views are phenomenal. The building is very old but we like character in a hotel. The staff are so friendly. Food amazing.

Very comfortable and beautiful location
Because of Christmas parties I returned to the hotel to find the car park full with no alternative parking nearby so had to wait for the party goers to go home very late in the evening before I could return to my room.

The location was beautiful
The food was absolutely fantastic
Staff pleasant but only 1 person on shift at a time trying to do everything
It was very tired & in need of updating
Outside needed a good tidy up
Booked a double room & when arriving in the room it was 2 single beds put together
Mattresses very uncomfortable & need changing
Stains on the carpet
Wallpaper peeling off
Dust everywhere especially behind the bed
Mould in the shower
Shower door broken
No toilet roll holder
The list goes on
