The location of the property was lovely, and the bed was super comfortable. Carla, the host, was very responsive and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again!

Carla, the host, was very flexible regarding check-in and check-out times. The location is excellent, very near the seafront and lighthouse. A lovely area to be based in. It is also walkable to the Barbican waterfront.
I didn't mind this; however, it's worth noting that the building is older, so anyone visiting should not expect modern facilities. More quirky, great value for money. There is no reception, although this is also a benefit, as it allows you to self-check in at your convenience.

The location was very good and I would say the room was good. However, there are a couple of things that I would suggest for the management to change, one, the shower was terrible and not enough power and too ages to heat. Two, there should be a fridge in the room, especially on a hot day to store your water as the room does get hot and one cannot adjust the heating which comes on at weird times. The guest should be able to adjust the heating/temperature in the room. Either than these two things it was generally 3*.
The shower, no fridge in the room and the temperature could not be adjusted.
