Breakfast was one of the best breakfasts in a hotel.
We arrived after a long drive and were told that the restaurant was now closed. We had read it was open until 9pm. However, we found an excellent Indian restaurant opposite.

The room was spacious, quiet, very comfortable and clean, with ample tea and coffee and biscuits! Water in fridge also lovely touch. Staff all extremely helpful and friendly.
It was strange on a Thursday evening to return to the hotel at 11pm and being unable to buy a drink in the bar as it was closed.

we arrived early and were going to leave our bags until later, the receptionist went above and beyond to sort our rooms there and then. She is a credit to the hotel (some other chains would just say sorry no rather than trying)
I love the Malmaison hotels, more character than the other corporate chains, this stay didn't disappoint.
All good thank you but the very slight thing I could say is it would be nice to have a plug next to the bed for your phone charger.

Rooms were clean and comfy. Staff were great. So in that instance there was nothing to really complain about.
We were offered breakfast when we arrived but wanted to decide on the following morning if we would take them up on the offer. As it happened we decided to go down for breakfast. When we did they said, they were fully booked and there was no room! There wasn't an option to wait just...No.
If we'd have known that his might happen at book in we might have done something different.
It was a lovely experience but for that one issue I don't think we'll book there again.
