Amazing location - only a few mins walk from Hoe Park/Hoe lighthouse, as well as the University! We were a Uni dance team travelling down 4h for a competition at the Uni of Plymouth. Nigel was a great communicative host and kindly accommodated our later arrival, and helped us sort permit parking for 3 cars. The biscuits, tea & coffee and oats in the rooms were a lovely touch. Rooms were all warm, clean, well equipped with towels, hairdryers, en-suite toilet/shower etc and we all slept very comfortably.
A few friendly spiders in rooms (but guess this is unavoidable in Spring).

Great location and manager was very helpful and polite
Lack of parking, had to drive around for a good half an hour to find a spot. But manager was able to provide a permit at an additional cost.
Whilst not the managers fault, the noise level from other people was extreme. We were unable to sleep due to the level of noise and banging so very tired the next day with a long 5 hour drive ahead of us home
