About this farm stay rental
Country House Nazzano is a characteristic stone farmhouse located in one of the most beautiful areas of central Tuscany, among olive groves and vineyards, close to the most important artistic and cultural centers of San Gimignano, Siena and Florence. The carefully restored house retains original features. It is furnished with period furniture and the atmosphere is very warm and hospitable. The unique view.
The accommodation is located on the ground floor and on the first floor.
Ground floor: large living-dining room with fireplace, 1 mezzanine bedroom with two single beds, fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator - microwave oven - dishwasher - five-burner oven, iron and ironing board), service bathroom.
Loggia (20 m2) with table and chairs, large private garden for dining or relaxing.
Upstairs: two double bedrooms, living room, 2 bathrooms with shower/wc
In the garden for exclusive use there is a relaxation area equipped with a mini swimming pool, deckchairs and sun loungers where you can admire the view at sunset with a glass of Chianti. Also ideal for the little ones where they can play and cool off on the hottest days.

Country House Nazzano is located in S. Andrea a Gavignalla in the municipality of Gambassi Terme (km. 4) on the border of the three provinces of Florence, Siena and Pisa in the center of Tuscany.

Distances: Florence km. 45 - Siena km. 35 - Monteriggioni km. 30 - Volterrakm. 25 - Colle Val d'Elsa km. 15 - San Gimignano km. 10 - Montaione km. 7 - Certaldokm. 4 - Pisa-Lucca km. 65.
In Certaldo there is the railway station on the Florence-Siena line and free parking
In Certaldo and Gambassi (km. 4) you can find supermarkets, banks, bars, restaurants, pharmacies, all kinds of shops as well as a swimming pool, riding stables, tennis courts, trekking, golf in Castelfalfi-Montaione (10 km.)

- Tourist tax: Euro 1.00 per person (children over 14 years of age) for each night of stay up to a maximum of 6 consecutive nights

Miriam and Carlo met us in town and we followed them to the house. Very nice, helpful people, who both took time to make sure everything was OK. The house is on a hillside, with gorgeous 270 degree views. It has a large, wraparound veranda, for sitting, lazing and eating. The valley has a few far away houses but nothing else. The only noise at night was a magical owl. The living room is lovely and the bedroom comfy.
A few irritants. A small studio is attached and the couple in it made a little too much use of our garden space; the WiFi was weak. Minor really.
It is an idyllic spot to spend time, just not doing a lot. Spectacular thunderstorms rolled in through the valley, too

We were at the end of September for a week with Miriam and Carlos. The receipt and handing over the keys was easy and very cordial. It was a perfect holiday in a perfect environment. Miriam gave us tips on excursions and restaurants, which we gladly accepted.
When we asked for new towels in the middle of the week, we were pleased to fulfill this request immediately and of course gladly.
We really enjoyed our time in this beautiful country house and learned to love Tuscany there.
We will come back in any case.
