About this apartment rental

After, do a little people-watching from the kitchen balcony while you finish your espresso and plan a day of sightseeing. You won’t need to walk much to enjoy the famous landmarks of Lucca: Your private view is over the most famous Lucca attraction: the Amphitheatre Square or the Lucca Colosseum in the Roman Times. Then, hit the streets and walk to more famous landmarks like Piazza San Michele, Piazza San Martino and Guinigi Tower, just 2 to 5 mins walk away. Your access to the apartment is from Via Fillungo and Piazza San Frediano, the main shopping areas of Lucca.Slide open the balcony doors to feel the warm breeze and hear buzzing streets below. Move seamlessly from inside to out, enjoying the city view from numerous vantage points. On nights in, bring in a private chef to show off a menu of local favourites. After dinner, sip local wine in the formal living room, lit by a majestic chandelier and a grand window with view over a slice of the Byzantine Mosaic on the façade of the Church of San Frediano. Composition:entrance hall, grand formal living room, dining room with kitchen, 1 master bedrooms with 1 ensuite bathroom with built shower, 2 more master bedrooms with amazing views, 1 more bathroom with built shower, laundry room with washer and dryer, storage room.The rental property is located within the ZTL area (Limited Traffic Area, accessible only by permanent residents and people with special permission) and does not offer on-site parking.The closest Parking Mazzini is located in a walking distance from the rental property, so leaving the car there prior reaching the apartment is essential. By following the road signs you will be able to avoid the ZTL area while driving to the parking.We kindly inform all guests that the rental property is self catering so hotel-like services are excluded by law (reception, surveillance of the accommodation, provision of meals and drinks, daily cleaning and linen change, transfers). For such reason any additional service can be provided on request and with the collaboration of external qualified partners and charged accordingly.

We had a wonderful week in Lucca. The apartment was spotlessly clean and looked just like the pictures. Check-in went smoothly and on time, and it was easy to get in touch with the host. The apartment is centrally located, with a beautiful view of Piazza dell'Anfiteatro from the kitchen and one of the bedrooms. It's close to great restaurants, a supermarket, bakery, and pharmacy. Walking along the city walls was a real treat. The only minor issue was that the TV in the living room couldn’t display Netflix, but the host immediately offered to come and fix it.

Excellent location. Three very nice bedrooms. Overall very quiet, until the “comic” gathering.
The parking issue is a problem nothing that can be remedied though. Was not a real problem until the “comic” event when taxis were not available to get us to our car. It would be reasonable to warn potential renters about the event. It was a surprise for us. May have altered our plans by a day or two.
