When we arrived at the villa in Velletri, we were pleasantly surprised!! The place is much more beautiful and spacious than the pictures show and the pool is perfect: it's big, clean and the place around has enough shade. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything you need to cook a good meal. The family was very nice and helpful and we felt really free.
The wifi-connection is good enough to use whatsapp, but if you use it with four people it's not strong enough to use other websites (or very slow). Anyway, we would definitely recommend this place! You can reach Velletri easily bij train, the central station is about 20minutes walk to the villa. The supermarket is 10 minutes walking. So in fact, you can also spend your holiday here if you don't have a car. We hope to come back sometimes!

"The property is spacious, comfortable and set in a beautiful hillside location just outside the town. The furnishings are tasteful and the inside of the house remains pleasantly cool during the hot weather. There is also a choice of attractive sitting and eating areas at the front and back of the house.
The shared swimming pool is clean, regularly maintained and offers poolside sitting both in the shade and the sun. Its setting and proximity to the house made it one of the highlights of our two-week stay.
The family (including a large labrador!) are all very friendly. Anna, our contact person, was mainly only available by telephone (you need to have your own) and it would have been helpful to have had some local information in the house (eg. map of the town, details about local buses, trains, restaurants, as well as instructions on the house water system which was not self-explanatory and caused a few moments of anxiety). One other small criticism concerns the kitchen utensils which were a little understocked (eg. no saucepans with matching lids).
Although the town is not far, it is important to know that the road from the outside of the estate to the nearest shops is difficult to walk along as it is quite busy and there is no pavement. For this reason alone a car is advisory.
Despite these points the house offered us an excellent holiday in a highly relaxing and inspiring setting. We hope to come again some day.

"The grand old original villa was clean and more spacious than the pictures show. The facilites were good, the pool was clean and inviting. The surruondings were very peaceful and the views of the hills were lovely. The walk into town was nearer than expected but the road was quite dangerous. The family and Anna were very friendly and helpful."
