About this apartment rental
The 4-room apartment is ideal for families and small groups.
The entrance is at ground level, two bedrooms and a bathroom are upstairs.
With a floor area of 85 sqm, 3 bedrooms, a cozy living and dining area with an open fireplace, it is very suitable for up to 6 people, e.g. B. for couples, 2 adults and up to 4 children.
The kitchen is fully equipped. a. with 4-burner gas stove, oven, sink, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer.
There is a dining table inside and outside, two modern bathrooms. One on the ground floor with shower, bidet and toilet, another upstairs with bath, shower, bidet and toilet.
Due to the height of approx. 700m above sea level, it cools down comfortably at night. Healthy height to regenerate, relieve stress and let your mind wander.
Activities:
Hiking trails start right from the house. A small hiking map from the region is in the apartment for you. Our area is an ideal place for cyclists. Here you can start your mountain bike tours directly at the house.
Attention racing cyclists! The legendary Oltimer race L'Eroica takes place here in Gaiole in Chianti on the first weekend in October. The paved roads here in the Chianti Classico are ideal for demanding road cyclists.
In addition to our pool with a magnificent panoramic view, we offer a fitness pergola for your daily gymnastics.
Visits in the region:
We would be happy to organize a wine tasting and tour of the cellar in nearby wineries in German, English or French.
Siena is just 32 km away. The weekly market takes place there every Wednesday.
The small towns such as Radda in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti and Greve in Chianti are nearby and very easy to reach by car from us.
On the first weekend of the month there is a unique antique flea market in the entire old town of Arezzo.
You can also visit the Volpaia fortress and Brolio Castle in the Chianti Classico area. Our guests are happy to receive further tips from the region.

We are a family of 5 (3 kids ages 10-15) and we stayed here in late May of 2019. It was one of our favourite places in Italy (we were in Rome, Florence and also Venice). Assunta and Rüdiger were the best hosts - so thoughtful and helpful. Casa Parigi was beautiful - even with the unusually rainy weather that Italy experienced this Spring. We spent some days at Casa Parigi and some exploring the countryside - so beautiful and fantastic driving. We wished we could have stayed longer. The kitchen and house are equipped with everything you need - and if there is something else you need just ask! Assunta and Rüdiger were happy to help us. The beds are very comfortable and the showers are hot with great water pressure. Assunta and Rüdiger helped us plan day trips - even printing maps and directions for us, and baked a cake (and that yummy bread!) for our son's birthday. The pizza evening was fantastic - definitely participate if you can! The kids loved the experience and we loved having the chance to eat the amazing food and also meet the other guests. Assunta is an amazing cook. We really enjoyed the 13 km hike that Rüdiger took us on - we wished we could have done more hiking. He is also a fantastic chess player so feel free to ask him to play! Its a beautiful location for relaxing and enjoying the views and the beautiful surroundings. I miss the sounds of the cuckoo birds. You can be as active (or as inactive) as you like. The gardens are beautiful and I loved the enormous vegetable garden and the views from the pool are stunning. We really enjoyed our vacation there and would love to return. Wow, what a place. We arrived very late on Saturday evening due to delays at AVIS car rental in Florence - a bit of a joke really :(. Anyway, Assunta and Rudiger were very understanding and were there to meet us and assist with our luggage. Car park is almost next to the house. We were given an informative tour of our home for 14 days and it was very well presented and clean. The views we had from our terrace and especially the pool are simply breathtaking. We were unfortunate to have a bit of UK weather in the form of huge thunder and lightning storms! Only one of those lasted any great amount of time but again the view we had of that and others was amazing! The optional communal Pizza on the Friday was a great way to meet other guests from the adjoining rooms. Assunta arranged a free tour of a local winery which was superb and allowed us to test some wonderful wines. She also gave us ideas of where we could visit in the near vicinity as well as farther afield. I have to say, if you are travelling, consider the train if it's any great distance. The trains run regularly from Montevarchi and there is a free car park. The fares are VERY reasonable and they take all the stress out of both driving and finding parking in the larger towns and cities.
The only downside - and sadly it needs to be mentioned - is the state of the unsurfaced 'road' leading to the property from the tarmac. It is quite rough with some very wide and deep holes along the way. Sadly,we managed to damage a sidewall on a front tyre on our hire car. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday with great hosts. Idyllic setting up in the hills where a gentle breeze keeps temperatures pleasant. The view from the lovely pool is stunning . The apartment was very comfortable and charming . Assunta was very friendly and had lots of helpful information about the area. She’s also a wonderful cook and we enjoyed our first evening meal cooked by her, aswell as the pizza night when they fired up the ancient oven.
We loved staying here and enjoying the walks right from the house . It is quite remote , which we liked but it’s only 45 mins to Seina. We would love to stay again.
