'The holiday home Casidote is situated at the entrance of an active estate with olive oil production, cultivation of timber and animal feed. cosy, rustic country house "Podere Casidote", 2 storeys, surrounded by meadows and fields. 3 km from the centre of Montieri, 20 km from the centre of Massa Marittima, on top of a hill, 50 m from the edge of the forest, 40 km from the sea, in the countryside. Private: natural state property 3'000 m2 with flowers and trees. 800 m long bumpy, steep motor access (via unmade road). Parking on the premises. Shop 3 km, supermarket 3 km, restaurant 800 m, bar 3 km, bus stop 800 m, sandy beach "Follonica" 40 km, bathing lake "Accesa" 30 km. Riding stable 3 km, walking paths from the house 10 m. Das Haus liegt in absolut ruhiger Lage mit toller Aussicht auf die bewaldeten Berge und Täler. Der landwirtschaftliche Betrieb nebenan störte nie. Die Vermieter sind super nett und haben uns selbst gemachten Wein und Tomaten gebracht. Auf Anfrage bekommt man auch Olivenöl aus eigener Herstellung. Wer Wald und Natur mag, für den ist die Gegend ein Paradies! Wanderwege gibt es z.T., man muss sie allerdings finden oder erfragen. Schöne Ausflugsziele sind das Castello Montemassi o. Massi Marittima.

Toll fanden wir:+ Ruhige, abgeschiedene Lage, landschaftlich ein Traum+ Sehr netter Besitzer, der uns selbst angebaute Zucchini und Gurken vorbeigebracht und trotz sprachlicher Hürden viele interessante Ausflugsziele empfohlen hat+ Ein tolles Willkommenspaket, bestehend aus Nudeln, Pesto, Wein und Keksen+ Kostenlos bereitgestellte Hygieneprodukte und HausschuheWeniger schön fanden wir:– Die Betten in einem der Zimmer knarzten so sehr, dass man es bei geschlossener Zimmertüre in den anderen Schlafzimmern noch hörte, wenn sich dort jemand im Schlaf umdrehte (war auch sehr hinderlich für den Schlaf im Zimmer selbst)– In einem weiteren Schlafzimmer war das Brummen der Wasseranlage nachts störend– Nur an zwei Fenstern im ganzen Haus Fliegengitter: Wir hatten ständig Hornissen in der Wohnung trotz umsichtigen Lüftens– Die Schlüsselhalterin, welche uns empfing, machte einen sehr hilflosen und uninformierten Eindruck: sie hatte die Schlüssel zum Gelände nicht, wusste nur wenige Fragen zu beantworten und machte einen insgesamt genervten Eindruck – sie verschwand dann ohne Gruß. Wer ein bisschen Italienisch spricht, kommt mit dem Besitzer selbst jedoch super klar!
