We liked to clean modern space. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was excellent
Maybe it was due to being out of season but the lack of an area to sit and have a coffee in the afternoon, this would have been nice. There was a bar area but I wasn’t open during our stay.

I really enjoyed our staying, the view was incredibile, the room was big, i liked that the bathroom had 2 sinks and plenty of space, the food was great.
It's not related to the hotel, but the location is quite far from many sights unless you rent a car. One annoying thing is the problem with the wifi which works quite slowly; but it didn't bother us that much because we didn't come for the phones. We had a problem with the thermostat and the only thing that bothered us a little is that after a certain hour there is no one at the reception and in case you have a problem you really don't have anyone to contact. One of the waiters at the hotel restaurant (the older gentleman) was a bit uptight and made us feel bad, otherwise absolutely all the staff - at the reception, the young waiters, the recommended driver, the cleaning lady - everyone was wonderful.

We loved our stay at Buonamico. The room was nicely furnished , and very spacious. Extremely quiet at night time, fabulous bathroom. Bed very comfortable. The view from the balcony over the pool and vineyard is stunning.loved the pool. Dinner at restaurant was nice. I found the drive to Lucca and Pisa airport quite long.

The food served in the restaurant was excellent. The selections of wine that we tasted were superb. We popped into the wine shop to taste the olive oil and a sparkling rosè. We came away with purchases of both which were great. The pool area was very quiet and peaceful and the furniture was very comfortable especially the lovely double sofa/beds. Great size pool and lovely vuews of the surrounding vines.
The bedroom and bathroom had some design issues which i wouldn't have expected from this standard of accommodation. There was no dressing table. Only a small area to store one suitcase. There were no USB charging points.
The bathroom had no hooks to hang clothes or towels, just a towel rail which was in the shower area. Although we saw other guests with bathrobes at the pool, we had none provided in our room.
The most disappointing thing was the breakfast. As this was the last location on our busy but very enjoyable trip to Tuscany I was looking forward to a relaxing breakfast on our balcony as advertised. Unfortunately the food was very poor. It all seemed as if it had been removed from packets. I had pastries in a service station later that morning which were far more tasty and appealing. Having chosen the Buonamico resort especially for its gourmet restaurant and wine it was such a let down.
