About this villa rental
Restored stone house with garden and private pool situated in the country-side around Arezzo (approx.. 10 km away), in the small village of Pieve San Giovanni. This property, formerly used as a mill, was turned into a nice holiday home. Although located within a small town, this house is quiet and offers nice views over the surrounding landscape.
Outside, guests can enjoy use of a spacious garden with a gazebo and a private swimming pool. The house interiors are welcoming, furnished in a rustic style.
About 4 km away there is Ponte Buriano, a small town on the banks of the Arno river whose ancient bridge was painted on the background of Leonardo’s most famous painting, Mona Lisa.
The nearby town of Arezzo offers daily train connections to Florence, Orvieto, Rome.
Distances: Pieve San Giovanni with grocery and a restaurant 30 meters away, a supermarket is approx. 4 km away, Arezzo with shops of all kinds and railway station 10 km, Cortona 41 km away, the Chianti region is within 50 / 80 km, Siena 70 km away, the Val d’Orcia area is 60 / 90 km, Florence 90 km away.
At guests’ disposal: garden, gazebo with garden furniture and barbecue, fenced-in, swimming-pool (8 x 4 m - depth 1,2 m) reserved for guests' exclusive use.
