Everything, amazing hosts, fabulous comfy bed and all the extras you could possibly ask for - even fruit from their trees.
The access road is gravel and quite lumpy, so your car is always dusty, but worth it for the amazing stay.

Location, excellent, nice and quiet, not far from Matakana and Warkworth .. we enjoyed our welcome to Hen House.. was a great place to use as a base to explore an area of NZ we’ve never been to..
All good, although we found the bed a little hard.. we found cooking difficult as we have never used a microwave, also the electric frypan did not have sensitive controls

Josie, the host, was lovely and happy to assist with any questions or requests, didn't need the latter as everything was thought of already.
