A beautiful large comfortable room in a peaceful country setting. The room was lovely warm, very comfortable and exceeded our expections by a long long way. It is a little off the beaten track but that just added to the serenity. Loved it.

Everything, amazing hosts, fabulous comfy bed and all the extras you could possibly ask for - even fruit from their trees.
The access road is gravel and quite lumpy, so your car is always dusty, but worth it for the amazing stay.

Location, excellent, nice and quiet, not far from Matakana and Warkworth .. we enjoyed our welcome to Hen House.. was a great place to use as a base to explore an area of NZ we’ve never been to..
All good, although we found the bed a little hard.. we found cooking difficult as we have never used a microwave, also the electric frypan did not have sensitive controls
