It was so homely. Mark and Christine were so lovely & hospitable.

Nothing, we loved eveything single thing.

Mark and Christine was very friendly, and took us in on short notice. We got a beer when we arrived, and we made breakfast with them in the morning. They also gave us tips for our further travels:)

If the owner can stay separately frm the guests.jst built a small house next to the property. Thanx

The location was beautiful and it was a quiet, peaceful setting.

We were a little disappointed by our stay with Mark and Christine. When booking the house we read reviews and from this and the price of the stay we expected either dinner or breakfast to be provided, but it wasn't. We also communicated with the hosts that we'd like to have a cosy night in and Christine said the fire would be going, but it wasn't and I had to ask later when she returned home. We weren't made to feel all that welcome, though they did head out for the evening which we appreciated because it is very much sharing their home (kitchen, living space, bathroom). The mattresses were very soft and the wifi was patchy. They hadn't checked that there would be enough gas in the cylinders so we had to call the hosts who did get gas for us thankfully. The communication about what should be expected from the stay needs to be much clearer. Is dinner or breakfast included? Is the spa bath working? Should guests expect to be eating, relaxing alongside their hosts or will some privacy be provided? I think there needs to be consistency in what you can expect from the stay.
