About this house rental
Tinopai is a quiet settlement in the Northern Kaipara Harbour. Tinopai means Very Good, and so it is! Good swimming, the water's so clean, being close to the Heads. The Matakohe Museum is a must, top class! The locals are really nice, we hope you get to know them. If you have a boat, great fishing 1 km up the estuary (exact spot is classified information). There's a wharf from which to fish if you are a landlubber. If you're fit, Mt Tokatoka is worth a climb, to view the Kaipara all the way to Dargaville. If you're a stargazer, the night sky is an astronomer's dream.
There is an Alpaca farm to visit at 308A Arapaoa Road, $30 per vehicle. A delightful experience!
The bach itself is set on half an acre, with a small bush walk at the bottom. Sleeps six comfortably. There is a wee caravan (which the kids fight over) on site.

Smoking allowed outside only
Deck not fenced so watch small children
Pets allowed with prior approval
NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own linen (towels and sheets)

This was a lovely Bach with park a like setting Everything you needed and more when you want to get away and enjoy some RNR !!!! Very comfy with beautiful views

The house is beautiful. Great views out to the Kaipara Harbour through the beautiful trees and gardens. This place is obviously a labour of love for Pat and Julie.Tinopai is lively. The locals that we met are amazing and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing I was unhappy with was that we could only stay for 3 nights... I would stay for a month if I could.Thanks Pat and Julie.
