The apartment was clean and well appointed, in a good location. Very easy to walk to town, with a market and bakery close by. The beds were comfortable.
The host became very rude to us when we asked for clarification on the tourist tax (he had not let us know ahead of time, and I had to pull up the country website since he requested payment for our children when they were exempt). The shower door fell off and onto my friend while showering, and when I asked him to repair it, he insisted we had damaged it. The hairdryer was broken. We offered several times some windows of time for him to come and receive the tax and replace the hairdryer, and he did not arrive. His initial communications were fine but quickly became combative. While the apartment itself was fine, his demeanor was most unwelcoming and unpleasant, and he said that he would charge us for damages if I reported his actions to Booking.com.
