Villa Leoni

The view was amazing! For someone like me with mobility issues, it was great to see the old city and the sea right from the balcony. Seeing it lit up at night would have been missed if we stayed somewhere else. The bathroom was very nice and even had multiple hooks to hang towels, a true rarity. The Nespresso machine and TV selections were also great. Check in was easy and Joseph gave great recommendations about restaurants. This is a beautiful place to stay, even with the 80 or so steps down to the sea and old city. You can take an uber or taxi back up, so it’s not so hard with those having trouble going up stairs.

The stairs down to the shore and old city are tough for those with leg issues, but there is no way around it. The bells chiming every hour can also disrupt sleep if the windows are open. Again, no way around that except closing the windows and running the air conditioning.

Is a sanctuary close to the old town to sit back and enjoy the old harbour boat movements and the seasonal change in weather. The owners were really good communicators before, during and at checkout - we really appreciated their help.

Stairs - well really that’s what an old town and Dubrovnik is all about. However, the owners helped us with our bags, so this issue was not a problem.

Gorgeous view of the sea and Old Town from the apartment and deck. Great to have access to nearby washing machine.

The property had a good location.

We booked the property based off of the pictures. The apartment that we got was totally different than what was shown in the pictures. I guess their trick is to post hundreds of pictures and possibly the apt we got is somewhere in there. Yet the general sense you get from looking at all of the many first pictures is much nicer than the apt that we actually got. They should have different postings for different apartments since they are so different.
