    Perfect place for my stay in York. Walking distance to all York attractions. The room is lovely & superb. However they dont have own carpark. You have to park at public carpark about 200m away. And pay for the parking.

    Another comfortable hotel by IHG. Rooms are simple and clean and have all needed for a couple nights. I prefer just a shower not shower over bath so this is great. Walkable into city centre. A bit too far to walk to train station. Breakfast available with good selection. York is a beautiful city and surrounding areas are a must to see. Would stay here again

    We arrived at the hotel and were given a room with a small double bed with a sofa. We could see immediately that the size of the bed would have restricted movement during sleeping. The staff quickly made up two singles into a larger double in another room. SO, that aspect was good. While the hotel is in keeping with Holiday Inn standards, bear in mind there is much construction in the area, so if you want a lie-in after 8am I suggest you look for hotels elsewhere.
