We liked that it was a quiet location, everything was very close and it felt like we were abroad.
The instructions were very clear, and good communication from the owner.
There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The property was very modern, well furnished, clean and lovely and warm. The bathroom was gorgeous.
The beds were not the most comfortable.

The Green Mews property itself was amazing. High standard, well designed, clean and comfortable. However, the disastrous drawback was the faulty heating system… The indoor temperature was between 28 and 30 degrees celsius - night and day! We could not sleep! When we called the letting agents Getaways they gave us every excuse under the sun. In fact they basically said anything they could to avoid admitting there was a fault. By pure chance a heating engineer turned up at the properties the next day for a routine service. He immediately confirmed that there was a fault with the heating system. However, in spite of this, Getaways still refused to acknowledge any fault whatsoever and blocked any discussion regarding compensation. In summary: great property but terrible letting agents/host.

Yes, we did stay at the house during a heatwave, but the temperature in the rooms stayed at a constant 28–30 degrees even during the night when the outside temperature was much cooler. Obviously the indoor temperature should have reduced during the night. But as we wrote, and as the heating engineer confirmed, the heating was ON which obviously was a fault. It was compensation for this fault and the unnecessary discomfort that we enquired about, nothing else.
