Great location, very helpful host. Everything is walking distance and the little shopping streets / area is very nice. It s a good location to see Brighton.
Avoid booking around any events, it raises the prices significantly. We booked a week before the gay parade 🤪 and during beach festival when we were there.
Parking is a bit a pain and expensive but that seems to be everywhere in the UK.
Appartement was okay but the windows were old, lot of noise coming through from the streets and screens are for the early bird - wouldn't come back in winter time though...

Good Location in main street.excellent cosy 2 bed apartment it has everything you need. Bus stops outside into Brighton. Car park facility very near to park the car. Then use bus service the whole trip

The responsiveness of Emma the host was great. We had to contact her about quite a lot of things, sadly, but she was quick to reply and polite. She also set things right as best she could at short notice.
The shower room (no bath) is very nicely decorated, and the shower is a generous size, allowing me to get in with my two young daughters and all get clean. The bathroom was also spotlessly clean on arrival.
The location is great with lots of cafes and eateries nearby and Hove Beach, a 10 minute walk with pushchair.
The road noise and general shenanigans noise on a night time from the road below are no joke. The property has quiet times between 10pm and 8am, but that doesn't stop the traffic or the drunken patrons of the nearby bars and eateries. The traditional sash windows may as well not be there when it comes to blocking out noise.
The cleaning had not been done properly, though we have had a partial refund of the cleaning fee to compensate for this. It seemed half a bottle of wine had been spilled on the kitchen side and onto the floor and one stool/chair. The rubbish bag was also dumped in the second bedroom.
Some of the deep cleaning tasks (radiators, mouldy window frames, wooden floors) are not being kept on top of. The host has promised to look into some of this with the cleaners.
There are a total of 22 stairs to get to the apartment, which was not convenient with a heavy pushchair, but it will obviously be fine for some people.
The tenant before us had stolen a lot of the kitchen bits! This was largely why we had to get in touch with the host, as there were no glasses and not a full set of cutlery for 4. The host has rectified this now, but it made our first night and morning very difficult. I am just writing an honest review of what happened.
The beds were not very comfortable, with one section of the main bed sort of fallen in when lain down on, at the front, meaning my husband was sort of rolling into the hole and almost out of the bed. The other side of the mattress was very lumpy as well. Also, the pillows were not great. Mine was very thin and lumpy.
