Room I requested was facing mountains so it was like waking up in a dream view. Had a late check in, around 2230, but the receptionist was super kind enough to wait and he accommodate me still with a smile. Rooms were cozy, buffet breakfast is on point - lots to choose from. Location is walking distance from Interlaken West. Definitely my homebase on my next Switzerland visit.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I stayed in room *** from February 14 to February 18, 2026, and for most of my stay the heating was not working properly. We spent three nights sleeping in the cold, which was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable, especially during winter in Switzerland. We even got sick and woke up multiple times during the night because of the temperature. In addition, for the last two days there was no hot water, so we couldn’t take a proper shower. This is a basic service and not something guests should have to deal with. We complained at the reception since the first night, and the staff acknowledged there was a structural problem affecting the hotel. We were told several times that someone would come to fix it, but the issue was never properly resolved. Only on the last night did they provide a small portable heater, which was far from adequate. This experience was completely different from what we paid for and expected. I formally requested a refund and, even after several days, received no response. I would not recommend staying here, especially during winter.
