Today, the castle hosts courses, seminars, and prestigious concerts. In July, there are concerts in the castle by well-known contemporary musicians and orchestras. The Caetani Castle is open every day from 10 to 13.

Apartment was great. Balcony had an awesome view and it was very quiet. Marco was very helpful telling us how to get to Rome by train and helped us navigate our language barrier with the local stores and locations. He even checked if we needed anything throughout our stay.

The house is fully equipped (dishwasher & washing machine), Sermoneta is a wonderful 12th century mountain village very close to Rome (only 30 minutes drive or 45 minute train). The apartment is very comfortable with beautiful views. There is a short uphill walk to the most quaint and mid evil village. We discovered some exceptional restaurants up the hill and some adorable little stores around every corner. The host, Marco, is a very warm and charming man who knows everything about the area. The rental is situated in the center of Sermoneta, it's ideal for a traveler who doesn't want to stay in the heart of Rome. We would definitely like to stay here next time we visit Rome!

We very much enjoyed our (2 persons) 2 week stay in the appartment. It was large, clean and had a terrace with beautyful panoramic view on the Pontina plain. The owner was very friendly and helpful to let us enjoy the stay. Sitting facility could be a bit more comfortable. Centre of medieval Sermoneta was very nice and within short walking and a bit of climbing distance. Rome easily reached by train from nearby station. A stay in Sermoneta like this is warmly recommended!

We drove up the hill to Sermoneta and the apartment has a beautiful view overlooking the area towards the sea. This was amazing on New Years Eve as all the fireworks lit up the whole area below. We will never forget that night. The apartment was perfect for our family of 5. the 3 kids slept in single beds in one room and we slept in the other room. Both rooms had en-suites which was great. We ate breakfast up on the verandah which was very nice. The local shops had milk and bread , cafes etc(5 minutes walk up the hill). The bigger supermarket was in latina Scalo(10 mins by car) , this is also where you catch the train into Rome. Our train into Rome took 45 minutes. We loved walking around the village and everyone is very friendly.
