The apartment itself was great and the view was spectacular. It should be noted that such a view comes at a cost: 631 steps from downtown. This was quite a challenge but we found a good grocery store another 130 steps up which meant we could make our own dinner thus avoiding another trip down and up the stairs for dinner. The kitchen is well-equipped.

The apartment was clean, tidy and comfortable. The view from generous balcony was spectacular from bedroom and lounge area.
There were no direction provided even when requested so we arrived by train and using Google maps attempted to walk to the apartment. This took a very long time with suitcases and was exhausting to climb over 600 concrete steps. This affected our entire holiday and made us unwell for several days. This could have been avoided by providing some simple arrival guidance in advance eg how to find a taxi( available from the port after a walk) or using the No 80 bus which runs hourly until 7.15. . There were no instructions about checking in and we were anxious we would not be able to gain access. However the housekeeper kindly waited for us and even gave us a lift to the local shops as we were very tired.. There was no information provided in the flat about how things worked other than the new air conditioning or even how to check out or where to leave the keys. I have since noted similar poor feedback from other guests last summer arriving by train but none of the issues have been addressed. This is a shame as the flat is lovely
