It's a cozy little family-run guesthouse and there is hence a nice personal touch to the approach. Located in the Headington area in the outskirts of Oxford, the convenience of its location depends on what you want to do in Oxford. In my case, it was a perfect fit. However, even if you need to go to the old town, the bus stop is practically in front of the guest house, and local shops and eateries are nearby, as is a nice large park. The real highlight is the breakfast which they cook fresh for you from the menu (plus the usual items on the buffet), so it's surely worth the extra 10 pounds. The breakfast room is nice and light to sit in.
It is fair to realise it is a guest house, not a hotel, so you should know it's not the newest house, and not the most spacious, some floorboards can creak etc. However, I found everything adequate and thought I paid a fair price. The only thing I struggled with was that it got surprisingly cold at night and was sorry I didn't ask for an extra blanket. I was there before Easter.

Didn’t have breakfast but location is excellent for getting into Oxford. Bus stop nearby and also only a short walk to Headington shops.

The price is reasonable, and the location is close to Headington shops and bus stops.
During my first day and night, the radiator did not work at all, and the room was very cold. It was impossible to sleep or rest because of the low temperature. Since there was no reception or staff available during the night, I had to endure the cold until morning. When I reported this issue the next day, I was told that I should have sent a message via Booking.com during the night. However, there was no way for me to know that I was expected to contact the property through Booking.com in such a situation, especially when there was no staff or contact information available at night.
