The room were fantastic. The breakfast was good and the staff were kind and helpful.

Firstly this is a 4 star hotel/resort. My comments are based on the expectations around this rating. I am not comparing Anyavee to other options in Krabi. Our deluxe room which had been updated having both a fan and aircon was sizeable, well maintained, had a wonderful view and well laid out. The included b/fast meal was more than generous for a 4 star hotel- lots of options, fresh food, room with a view, comfortable and good service. The SPA service was excellent- massage. The reception staff were always willing to help even if their English was limited. The Tour desk was available daily . The older parts of the hotel are v charming with lovely architecture, cool, airy passageways, well laid out with many connections to Reception. The grounds and gardens are delightful .The pools seem very clean and well maintained. The beach bar service is excellent. The restaurant food is very good.
My view is that I got what I paid for so nothing. Would be great to see the rest of the resort updated to the same standard although if it allows for greater affordability that's good too
