Krabi La Playa Resort

Title: Excellent choice + The hotel is large, but cozy. All rooms have a pool view. There are three large pools, and the entire grounds are very beautiful. The location is ideal: a supermarket is a 3-minute walk away and two excellent beaches on either side of the hotel are within walking distance. The staff is friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. The hotel hosts various activities, such as yoga classes and batik painting. - No negative points at all. The breakfast is good, fruit, buns, the only drawback for me: there was no meat of my choice (the chicken sausages were tasteless and unappealing, and some kind of spicy meat).

Good location, easy to walk to shops, restaurants & bars. The 2 main pools were lovely but the colour of the Emerald Pool was off-putting. Breakfast was not as good as we have had in other resorts.

We only stayed for one night. The location is just off the main drag of Ao Nang Beach, so you’re close to all the shops and restaurants, while still being slightly tucked away from the busiest part. It’s a good mid‑range option with a really nice breakfast selection. The pool looked large with plenty of sunbeds, and there’s even a little book library in the restaurant, which is a lovely touch. The hotel is large, so if you are wanting a quiet relaxing break in a small hotel, this is not for you. Our room was a bit dated, but everything worked fine and we had no issues at all. Overall, a pleasant experience.
