I had a pleasant stay at Marine View in Brighton. The location is excellent — right by the seafront and within easy walking distance of the pier, shops, and restaurants, which made getting around really convenient.
The room was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the sea view, which was a real highlight of the stay. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything I needed for a short break. The property itself is well maintained and felt quiet and relaxing.

I booked the budget room and expected the full bathroom to be communal but I had my own shower, basin and vanity table. Only the WC is shared between a maximum of 3-4 people as far as I am aware. The host was lovely and extremely accommodating, the location is quiet, not far from the town centre and the house is clean, though a bit old (just in the usual English fashion). For breakfast there are several options, including vegetarian/ vegan ones and the host accommodates preferences. A hair dryer, soap, shampoo, towels, an alarm clock, a kettle and complimentary tea are provided.
One of the very few things I would suggest to improve is to install a hook next to the basin for towels and replace the hook on the door for a jacket.
