About this apartment rental
Luxury apartment on two levels, centrally located and optimally served: entrance hall, 3 bedrooms . 3 bathrooms, lounge/bedroom kitchen / dining room. Conditioning, WiFi and audio broadcasting in every room.
LOCATION: Enjoy Venice from a strategic location: you will be in a quiet calle easily reachable from the railway station/bus terminal. At the same time most places of interest in Venice are at a walking distance. The apartment, at the top of an ancient Ventian building, has been completely renovated and equipped with quality furniture in 2014.
FEATURES: Form the main door at ground level, you have to climb a steep Venetian flight of 23 steps, to reach a large, finely decorated, stylishly furnished apartment that can host up to 8 people. It is arranged on two floors: the Goose Home (main apartment at second floor for with entrance hall, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and kichen/dining room) and the Goose Nest (mansard suite with ensuite bathroom and walk in wardrobe). The house is fully equipped: AC and heating in all rooms, washing machine, drying machine, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, free internet WiFi connection and Smart TV, baby bed (to confirm upon booking), sheets and towels for you all.
IDEAL LOCATION IN THE CORE OF VENICE: Rialto, San Marco square, the Ghetto,, the Casinò close at hand, the Accademia, i Frari and all the museums at less than half an hour walk. At 7 minutes walk you'll find the pier for the vaporetto boat to Murano and Burano. The apt. is easily reached from Piazzale Roma (bus terminal) or Railway Station by a 20 minutes walk or 15 minutes bus boat trip, or from the Marco Polo airport by the direct Alilaguna boat service (40 minutes + 7 minutes walk) or by speedboat taxi (20 minutes).
FOOD & SHOPS: A large supermarket open 7 days a week 8.00 to 20.00 and plenty of shops and good restaurants are close by. Moreover, crossing the Canal Grande with the traghetto-gondola (€2) in less than 5 minutes you will be in the big Rialto market: the truly Venetian big fresh fish market (but also vegetable and fruits)
CHECK IN: We keep the 10 am 3 pm time interval for the cleaning. So, incoming guests are granted luggage drop off starting from 10. am. if you arrive after 3 pm you will self check in using a code box
CHECK OUT: free the apt by10 am. You may leave your luggage in a video surveilled storage area downstairs and you will recover it as you please at later time using the code box

Late check out is possible only if we do not have new guests, otherwise we start cleaning up in the morning and you have to check out by 10.. But you can leave your luggage in our video surveilled storage area as long as you like (the housekeeper will be in the apartment cleaning and doing the laundry until mid afternoon, so your belongings will be absolutely safe).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and Stefano responded quickly to all of our questions; he also arranged water taxi to take us to the train station when we departed. This was our second time staying; it’s a favorite!

Great accommodation, and so close to everything. Our host was amazing and gave us all the information we could possibly need. Great place to stay if you have a group. Would definitely book again if we were back in Venice.

We arrived close to where we were to be staying by water taxi and were met by our host Stefano. He was very cordial and helped us get to the apartment. Upon entering the apartment we were met with a very narrow flight of 20 or more steps going straight up to the first floor. It wasn't possible for my wife or myself to get our luggage up those steps so we were forced to leave them in the foyer. The furniture was very worn and very close to the floor. The beds were much firmer than we were used to, but the apartment was clean. We weren't given any wash cloths for some reason. Stefano was very nice but I wish I had known about the steps and the condition of the furniture. This is not a place any person over 6 foot tall or over 55 years old would be comfortable.
