Very close to the station. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Spacious lounge, bar and terrace area.
Clean and tidy and beds very comfortable.
Its a quirky boutique style hotel and has some nice features, however dark colours on the walks and ceiling make it grim and dismal. Rooms look very dark with only a small window.
We booked the hotel as it had a restaurant in it. When we checked in, the receptionist confirmed we could eat there in the evening. However when we went down later we were informed that the restaurant was closed as the person was on his own and couldn’t man the desk and cook food! Extremely disappointing as that was one reason we chose the hotel.
