We absolutely enjoyed this place, exactly because it offers the experience of a tiny, traditional Karpathian house with bathroom outside, in the countryside up in the mountains, with a large garden respectively vegetable field at the back, and a wide view at the front side. There is a traditional wooden Karpathian bed in the small middle room (with a very comfortable mattress and fragrant linen), opposite a fireplace. It´s a nice, quiet place that makes you feel at ease ... And Michael and his father are very friendly and hospitable hosts, who will help you in any way they can!
The wifi was down, and somehow it was not possible to make it work within the 3 days we stayed there (which was not so practical in our case as we had to attend job-related meetings). However, Mike generously offered us to use the wifi in his bar in the nearby village (even when it was closed). As mentioned - he will do everything to improve your stay!

This family home is in the most scenic area of the island, sitting above the village of Volada. The village is accessible by steps, down to the local taverna. The hosts are lovely and have a cocktail bar nearby! If you are a lover of mountains and beautiful scenic drives, then I would highly recommend Ru House (car a must)

Is a traditional house like you are visiting your Greek grandmother in the summer. Has all facilities in a simple way.There is great mountain - sea view and peace and a great terrace with a big table you don't want to leave. You can get fresh eggs and veggies from the garden! You can reach all places and beaches cause is in the center of the island.
The second bedroom bed is a bit short for a tall guy and separation of bedrooms not very clear.
