Everything, the room especially the view . The position was excellent , I will comeback . Thank you Marian am Rhein I had beautiful time
The only bad thing is that there is not staff is all by yourself. But once you understand how works is pretty easy .

Location unbeatable. Basel card in time. Free tea, coffee and some fruits. Personel gives their best. Single bed++
No reception. Full lockers, so unable to left luggage in the lockers, stored in the office.

Good location to see Basel and go on day trips. It is right in the city center. The check in and check out is very convenient- self service type. Coffee and tea is free for mornings. The beds are comfortable. There is a mini fridge and cabinet for clothing. Pretty much most of what you would need.
Single Comfort Room
My initial room had quite a bit of noise, likely from construction or water pipes on one side of the building (not sure of the exact source). This made it difficult to sleep during the first nights.
It was also a bit challenging to reach staff since there is no physical presence at the hotel. However, after contacting them from Booking, they responded and arranged a room change for the next day.
The second room was quieter, but slightly smaller, even though I was told it would be the same type. There was also an issue with the bathtub leaking water into the hallway. I didn’t report it since I didn’t have time to switch rooms again, and it wasn’t a major problem.
Overall, there were a few issues, but the staff did make an effort to resolve them, which I appreciated.

The view cannot be beat! What a location - and the little balcony was totally worth getting!! It was also great to be able to book at the last minute (as our other accommodation had fallen through)
Not having any parking options was a real challenge! I would like a kettle in the room (vs having to go downstairs to the common room…which made it feel like an upscale youth hostel)
