Location and parking
Very thin wall between us and next door room, we were in Monkbar room. We could hear everything and they had their tv on late when we wanted to sleep.

Comfy bed in a cosy room. Close to York centre.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good. The pub had a good atmosphere and was welcoming.
Bathroom very tired and dated. Noise from other rooms was bad and disrupted our sleep. I don’t think other rooms were particularly loud, I just think the soundproofing between rooms is below average
