Staff were very welcoming, beautiful building, clean warm room with superb en-suite. Breakfast was a delightful experience in the beautiful atrium. The catering staff were friendly and helpful. The cafe serves delicious lunches, cakes and coffee. There is a very pretty garden to enjoy, weather permitting. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break here.

Excellent location close to railway station; beautifully maintained historic building
Room was at the top of the building, involving a lot of stairs and low headroom: not a problem for me, but could have been for others: not sure if I was warned about that. Shower ran only lukewarm - just a glitch, I guess, as it was hot in the taps.

Easy to get to, theres parking right opposite the building (albeit expensive pay and display). Breakfast was nice too.
The building is old, and so is the room. The bed was just okay, but I wasnt expecting luxury when I booked it.
