The hotel was located close to the center of York, yet in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms were well kept and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
There was no elevator to the second floor, but staff offered to help me take my bags up to it.

Room was very comfortable, breakfast was very good, and the location was handy for station and York centre.
The heat in the bathroom with the sun shining all afternoon.

The location is amazing.
The room was small, not stocked out for two people in terms of tea and biscuits and very noisy above. (We were in the basement and reception and restaurant above us) parking is expensive (£36 for one and a half days)
