stayed at this guest house in the summer with my mum, and we both loved it! the patio was more spacious than i imagined and the table and chairs outside were nice for us to have breakfast. the room was also big enough for our luggage. the communal pantry is also well stocked. one gripe i would have is that the floor was quite sticky when we checked in, but other than that the room was clean. it is located in a lively street with many restaurants but it is a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. to get to the lift you also have to climb up a flight of stairs first. overall this was my favourite accomodation in my europe trip and i would definitely stay here again if im back!

First time using Agoda and what a bad experience. We arrived at the hotel 2 hours past check in time and unfortunately our room wasn’t cleaned. There was trash in bins from previous guests. Used wet towels were still in the bathroom. Sink had used soap and hair. Doormat was dirty and full of hair. Bed sheets weren’t changed and was clearly visible that it wasn’t cleaned. We contacted the receptionist and asked if there was another room available and she said no, even when there was a room free. Secondly we were promised that housekeeping staff will come as soon as possible, and having to contact multiple times waited for almost 2 hours. We couldn’t use the showers as there were no clean towels. Meanwhile the receptionist refused to take any responsibility and said that she will contact the property owner and get back to us. I wasted more time contacting Agoda call Center and was promised the same, however, no follow up was given. Finally the housekeeping staff came, they were friendly and apologetic. It took hardly 10 minutes for the room to be cleaned but we lost so much of our evening time in all of this. We wanted a refund and move to another property anf for the same, I was told the issue will be verified and addressed, and that might take 48 hours, however no follow up.

We enjoyed our stay! The rooms were very comfortable and were cleaned daily. The location was prime being at the center of La Spezia but also only a 10 minute walk from the train. We found it a great home base for exploring Cinque Terre. Only thing is it can get loud at night and the apartments are right on the street, so if you’re a light sleeper I’d choose another place.

Very quiet area. The buildong itself is quiet and there’s no staff around. It’s more like an Airbnb self check in which is good. I’d recommend it for the price.
