Great location and lovely staff, sweet little touches everywhere, great value and opposite the Gothic Crab
Cold shower, TV did not work/switched itself on early in the morning (!?), noisy. It was absolutely fine to pop next door to check in but don't understand why there isn't a note at reception to do so instead of a sign to call them on the telephone provided, that doesn't work :) If my phone had been dead I'd have been in trouble. The room had 'sea view' and 'soundproofed' as key words, so I didn't bother bringing ear plugs but in reality it was classic Brighton sash window that let every sound in. Not the hotels fault they were doing building work at 08.00 on a bank holiday!

No parking so had to drop off my suitcase and find a park streets away

-VERY noisy. Windows do not shut out any noise from outside and the pub a couple of doors down played very loud music until 1:00am. Walls pretty thin so just couldn't relax.
Windows are not great so room was a bit chilly and no way to heat it up. 2 fans but no heater or spare blanket. Such a shame as pleasantly surprised on value of the room upon entry.
