Location was ideal; staff were very helpful and friendly. Facilities were as advertised. Bathroom was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
Decoration of bedroom was rather "tired" - chipped paintwork, old carpet, curtains that didn’t really fit the window. Also room was very cold as heating was not on when I checked in: took a couple of hours to warm up.

Great location! Petals on the bed for Valentine’s Day which was a nice touch, however, I had expressed several times prior to our stay that we were there for a big birthday and not for V Day.
The hallway stank of cigarette despite being a non-smoking hotel. Very expensive for just a bed and no breakfast. Tiny bathroom.
