About this house rental
Monte Marcello is a charming medieval village set on a hill overlooking the sea, on the border between Tuscany and Liguria. The village is famous for its great restaurants, its beautiful panoramic views, as well as for the trekking trails. The town consists mainly of narrow streets that are free of traffic. Therefore, the sturgeons through driving is impossible, while the public car park is just 50 meters from the house. It is located just 6 km from Lerici, about 20 km from Portovenere and 30 km from the Cinque Terre. Excursions in Tuscany are also possible as Lucca and Pisa are only 60 km away. A very nice beach ("Punta Corvo") is located at the foot of the hill, reached by a long flight of stairs (1000 steps), otherwise there is a boat service in Bocca di Magra village, about 4 km away, where other beaches are , This apartment is located in the heart of the village and it is spread over two floors. Entrance through a small staircase. Ground floor: kitchen with marble basin, living room, Dienstbadzimmer (Wc). First floor: Double bedroom with views of Portovenere and en-suite bathroom (with bath and shower head), Twin, small balcony. Public parking about 50 meters away. Grocery in the village.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem liebenswerten kleinen Haus im idyllischen Dorf Montemarcello.
(Wegen kleinen Mängeln nur 4 Sterne.) Der Vermieter war sehr unkompliziert, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir würden unseren Urlaub nochmals hier verbringen.

Sehr schönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes altes Haus in wunderschönem alten Dorf. Alles da, was man braucht, nur: Kein Fernsehen, kein W-LAN - also Zeit zum Lesen, Reden und Ausschlafen. Zahlreiche Ausflugsmöglichkeiten - zu Fuß, mit Auto oder Bus. Sportliche Italiener nehmen auch gerne das Rennrad. Auch Strandliebhaber sollten sportlich sein, der Weg dahin geht 260 Höhenmeter ziemlich steil nach unten. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und unkompliziert.

Das Dorf Montemarcello ist eine Perle: gut erhaltene, gepflegte alte Häuser und scharmante Straßen. Unser Haus stammte aus dem 18 Jh. und war ein begehbares Museum. Der Charm der alten Möbel und die Wandmalereien haben uns bezaubert. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man im Alltag braucht. Das einzige, was fehlte waren bequemen Betten im kleinen Zimmer, das vermutlich nur für Kinder gedacht ist. Schade, sonst wäre es perfekt.
Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Die Wohnunng sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Ausicht aus dem Fenster: eine Seite auf die Bucht der Poeten, andere auf Carara war auch zauberhaft. Ein kleines Geschäft im Dorf (9-13.OO Uhr geöffnet) lieferte uns die Grundversorgung, einige Restaurants im Dorf ergänzten das Angebot. Sehr empfehlenswert!
