My initial communication with the host was a bit slow and all in Italian. She does not speak any English. She was at the apartment when we arrived at the agreed upon time. She gave us a tour of the apartment and explained (in Italian) how everything worked. I needed Google Translate to understand what she was saying. She asked what we would be doing and when she learned of our plans to visit Cinque Terre, she spent quite a bit of time explaining the ins and outs of going there. She was wonderful!! She eventually left and returned about 15-20 minutes later with some pasta, pesto and cheese. She then went so far as to explain to my wife how to cook it all!! The experience made it all worthwhile.
During the introduction, I learned that the host was out of town. We had an agreed upon meeting time. She scheduled her day accordingly. She was on a train when I was trying to reach her. So, while there were difficulties with communication initially, it was all explainable and reasonable.

The size of the apartment was bigger than originally expected - lots of furniture, storage. Very quiet apartment with a quiet balcony overlooking a lemon tree. The host was very welcoming and kind, waiting for us with fresh focaccia on arrival. Thank you again! :)

Dame sympathique et disponible (a attendu notre arrivée malgré le retard, avait eu la gentillesse de nous réserver une place de parc devant la maison). Bonnes explications des installations et choses à voir et faire dans la région. A disposition dans le frigo : une petite bouteille de Prosecco, un paquet de pâtes et un pot de pesto, une petite bouteille d'eau plate et une petite bouteille d'eau gazeuse. 4 croissants à la pistache emballés, quelques biscottes emballées, quelques confitures, capsules de café, sachets de sucre. Supermarché et commerce de fruits et légumes très proche. Machine à laver le linge très appréciable (possibilité de suspendre la lessive sur le balcon).
Chasse d'eau des toilettes inefficaces malgré l'intervention d'un installateur sanitaire (est allé pendant notre absence, je n'ai pas apprécié alors que nous avions nos affaires personnelles) La dame s'est présentée à l'appartement sans prévenir, réveillant tout le monde (elle a un trousseau de clé et peut pénétrer dans l'appartement quand bon lui semble). Le lendemain c'est la voisine qui est venue sonner tôt le matin. Voisine du dessus passe l'aspirateur à minuit et quand elle suspend son linge, toute l'eau coule sur le balcon et quand vous laissé les chaussures dehors bein vous les retrouvées mouillées ! Beaucoup de moustiques (c'est une catastrophe). Table de cuisine très petite pour manger à 4. Un petit ventilateur-climatiseur par chambre (le câble étant court, dans une chambre il a fallu déplacer les lits pour sentir l'air. On a essayé d'obtenir un check-out un peu plus tardif pour les désagréments rencontrés mais elle a refusé. A peine arrivés nous demande 50€ supplémentaires sur le montant du séjour payé ! Il n'est pas possible de se baigner à La Spezia. La première plage accessible est à 8km !! Des galets (bonjour les pieds). Bref, pas comme décris sur Booking....
